According to Levies, the tragic incident of firing took place in Prom, border area of Panjgur, where 5 people lost their lives and one person was injured due to firing by unknown gunmen.
A police official told Reuters on condition of anonymity that about a dozen attackers were involved in the attack and that the victims were monitoring equipment at a dam construction site for a private contractor.
The dead bodies of all the five people who were killed by unknown persons were shifted to the teaching hospital.
According to Levies, the accused escaped after the incident, and a search operation is underway to find them, and further investigation is underway.

On the other hand, Balochistan Government Spokesman Shahid Rand says that the officials working on the dam were attacked in the border area of Panjgur, Prom, the local people who were working on the maintenance of the dam were fired upon, 5 people were killed and 2 were injured. The bodies have been shifted to a local hospital.
Spokesman Balochistan government further said that the condition of 2 injured persons is out of danger, district administrative officers are present at the spot and investigation of the incident is ongoing.

On the other hand, armed men killed 2 persons including a woman in Gothbandi limits of police station Faleji of Tehsil Naseerabad of Dera Murad Jamali.
The cause of the incident has been said to be blackening, while the bodies were shifted to the district hospital, after the necessary action, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
The police have registered a case of double murder and started further investigation.
