**Shams Agahuseynova**: Thank you so much! It’s an incredible honor to stand on that podium and represent Azerbaijan. After all the hard work and dedication, winning the silver medal feels like a dream come true. I couldn’t be happier with my performance and the support from my coaches and teammates played a huge role in this achievement.
**Editor**: You scored an impressive 27.350 points. Can you tell us about your routine and what it meant to you to perform it successfully?
**Shams Agahuseynova**: My routine for the ribbon program has a lot of personal significance. I put a lot of thought into the choreography and the expression I want to convey through my movements. Executing it successfully in front of the judges was very rewarding, knowing that I’ve poured so much effort into perfecting every detail. It’s not just about the score; it’s about connecting with the audience and showing them what rhythmic gymnastics is all about.
**Editor**: The Azerbaijani team concluded the competition with four medals, which is quite remarkable. How does it feel to be part of such a talented team?
**Shams Agahuseynova**: It’s an amazing feeling! Each of us has worked incredibly hard, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Our camaraderie and support for one another really shone through at this event. Knowing that we’re all contributing to Azerbaijan’s success motivates me to push myself even further.
**Editor**: With 3,687 athletes participating from 71 countries, the Gymnasiade is a significant event for young athletes. What message would you like to share with your fellow competitors and young gymnasts?
**Shams Agahuseynova**: I want to encourage all young athletes to chase their dreams and never give up, no matter the challenges they face. Competing with so many talented individuals from around the world inspires me, and I hope that my journey motivates others to keep working hard and believing in themselves. Every small step counts toward achieving big dreams!
**Editor**: what are your plans moving forward after this competition?
**Shams Agahuseynova**: I plan to continue training rigorously and focusing on improving my skills. I’m also looking forward to participating in more competitions and representing my country on larger stages. My goal is to reach new heights in gymnastics and to make Azerbaijan proud.
