The emblematic Park of Lights, located in the commercial heart of Medellín, will be revitalized thanks to an alliance between the Center’s Management, Strategic Territories and the Association of Merchants of Guayaquil (Asoguayaquil).
This initiative seeks to create a safer, pleasant and cleaner environment for those who travel and work in the area known as El Hueco.

Merchants will hold awareness days on the care of the park, cleaning campaigns, and cultural activities that highlight local diversity and traditions.
Jannet Zuleta Gaviria, president of Asoguayaquil, highlighted the importance of the Park of Lights as a key point for the Downtown commercial corridor.
“We are committed to managing this space well and generating strategies that benefit our visitors and the entire city,” he stated.

The initiative is part of the Ties in the Territory project, framed in the Medellín Te Busca 2024-2027 Development Plan, which seeks to strengthen mutual cooperation agreements between the community and the government to transform public spaces.
With this intervention, the Park of Lights promises to be a benchmark for urban recovery for the benefit of citizens.
