The police are waiting for the results of the checks on the bottles seized from the club on Vouliagmenis Avenue, to determine if there was a problem with the drinks consumed by the students.
The competent authorities, in addition to checking the quality of the drinks, are also investigating the quantities consumed by minors during the party. At the same time, the persons who appear as owners, managers or administrators of the club are also being sought, according to ERT.
So far, a 20-year-old man has been arrested as temporarily responsible, who was referred to the prosecutor on the charge of exposing a minor.
At midnight on Sunday, the 8 students felt unwell at the prom held at a club on Vouliagmenis Avenue. A 15-year-old student had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Agia Sophia Children’s Hospital, where four other students were transferred.
Now the 15-year-old is out of danger and has been transferred to a simple bed. The remaining three, out of a total of eight students, were transferred to Gennimata and Alexandra hospitals. In the next few hours, everyone is expected to have been discharged from the hospitals.
In an effort to ascertain what exactly happened, the officers of the Greek Police will talk to the children as well as to those who claim to be the organizers of the event.

The Municipality of Athens issued an announcement on the matter: “The Municipality of Athens has taken up the issue concerning the night club on Vouliagmenis Avenue, which provided alcohol to minors. He will immediately take the prescribed legal actions in relation to the actions found, in consultation with the Greek Police.”
