CHAIRMAN of the National Anti-Trafficking Crime Network (JarNas Anti TPPO) Rahayu Saraswati regretted that the disrespectful dismissal of Ipda Rudy Soik was discussed at Commission III of the DPR.
“I really regret that something like this has to be brought up to the level of the DPR RI at the center, Commission III,” said Saras in the DPR Commission III Meeting Room, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (28/10).
President Prabowo Subianto’s nephew believes that the polemic should not have reached the DPR. Even though he and the Jarnas Anti-TPPO group can provide a basis for explanation.

“Even though this is something that, if it had really been revealed and resolved, it wouldn’t have to come to this,” said Saras, who is also a member of Commission VII DPR from the Gerindra faction.
He said Rudy had a good track record in carrying out his duties as a member of the Police. Apart from that, dishonorable discharge should occur if a member of the Police commits a serious violation of the law.
“What serious violations has the person concerned committed that warrants dishonorable dismissal? I urge the police, especially the Ethics team, to evaluate what kind of violations it was that led to the dismissal,” said Saras.
Rudy is a member of the Bhayangkara Corps who has handled human trafficking cases in Kupang. Then, he was dishonorably fired (PTDH) after violating the code of ethics in the alleged investigation into the fuel oil (BBM) mafia case in Kupang.
Then, he had an audience with Commission III of the DPR. (P-5)
