Islamabad High Court orders MD CAT retake – Pakistan

Islamabad High Court accepted the petition against the MD CAT exams, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir ordered the university to conduct the MD CAT exam again and said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University should conduct the MD CAT test again in a month.

MD CAT exam was conducted on September 22 in 30 cities and 2 international centers while 167,744 students registered for MD CAT 2024. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University has set up 33 examination centers.

University of Health Sciences (UHS) has established 26 examination centers while Khyber Medical University (KMU) has established 13 examination centers and Dow University has established 6 centers.

In Punjab, 58,380 students, 38,678 students in Sindh, 42,329 students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,806 students in Balochistan, 18,408 students in Islamabad have registered for MD CAT exam, besides 3,145 in Azad Kashmir, 739 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Students registered for MD CAT while 259 international students also participated in the MD CAT exam.

After the MD CAT exam, the affected students of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University reached the PMDC Secretariat and submitted an application, according to which the university has not yet uploaded the question paper on the website despite the completion of the examination process.
