Kansas City Chiefs Remain Undefeated as Travis Kelce Scores First Touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs have established themselves as the only undefeated team in the NFL this season, boasting a flawless record of 7-0.

Star tight end Travis Kelce celebrated his first touchdown of the season with an exuberant social media post.

Following their impressive road victory against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 27, the 35-year-old Kelce shared an exciting carousel of photos capturing moments from the game on Instagram.

Kelce, whose first touchdown came courtesy of a pinpoint Patrick Mahomes pass during the second quarter, captioned the photo montage, “Vegas baby!! Vegas!!” which reflects his long-standing affection for the city.

Kelce’s fondness for Las Vegas is well-known; it was in this very city that the Chiefs claimed victory in Super Bowl LVIII earlier this year. In a jubilant speech following that Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers, Kelce excitedly proclaimed, “Viva Las Vegas!” into the microphone as his girlfriend Taylor Swift beamed with pride by his side.

The touchdown from Kelce put the Chiefs ahead of the Raiders by 14 points heading into halftime, ultimately allowing them to secure a well-earned 27-20 victory.

The tight end, known for his Instagram posts often featuring Reels about his upcoming projects or stylish game-day outfits, tagged Mahomes, 28, and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in this unique Oct. 29 celebration post.

Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith Schuster praised Kelce in the comments, deeming him “the best to do it,” while Fox Sports commentator Erin Andrews added her voice of support as well, encouraging him with a simple, “Get it,” on the post celebrating their big win in Las Vegas.

In an additional homage to the vibrant spirit of Sin City, Kelce arrived at Allegiant Stadium sporting an eye-catching Elvis Presley-inspired outfit. This stylish ensemble included a bold black, white, and red bowling shirt alluding to the legendary “Jailhouse Rock” singer’s iconic fashion, expertly paired with matching pants and black sneakers—proving he could forgo the famous blue suede shoes.

The next challenge for the Chiefs comes against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Kansas City on Monday, Nov. 4. With their recent victory over the Raiders, Mahomes and his teammates have successfully maintained their status as the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL this season.
