Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Xiaomi 15 series officially launched in China with 4 variants. Each model is regular, Pro, Custom Edition and Limited Edition.
This flagship series relies on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm which is increasingly sophisticated with a second generation 3nm fabrication process. On paper, the CPU performance increased by 42% and the GPU increased by 44%.
Xiaomi 15 Pro
Xiaomi 15 Pro has a curved display on the side. The frame is made of aluminum and has a shiny camera panel design on the back.
Xiaomi 15 Pro comes in Gray, White, Green and Liquid Silver Edition.
This most premium model also has an improved cooling system whose area is expanded by 14%. The battery has a jumbo capacity of 6,100mAh, 1,220mAh larger than its predecessor.
There are three Leica cameras on the back with focal lengths ranging from 14mm to 120mm, making it more flexible to accommodate various shooting styles, from portrait to landscape.
The main camera offers an aperture of f/1.44 which accommodates more light, a faster shutter speed, and a blurred background that is more natural.
The telephoto lens is still the same as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra with the Sony IMX858 sensor. There is a periscope feature that can accommodate lossless zoom up to 10x.

Xiaomi 15 Custom Edition and Limited Edition
The Custom Edition variant has a super shiny frame option with black-and-white color choices and three palettes that can be customized by the user.
