Sethi said brittle nails can be a sign that the body is lacking nutrition. This condition can occur when the body does not get enough protein intake.

Apart from that, brittle nails can also be caused by iron deficiency. These two nutrients can be obtained by consuming foods such as nuts, meat and tofu.

2. Eyelids or limbs twitch

Eyelid twitching can be caused by many things, including nutritional deficiencies. Sethi explained that this condition can occur when the body lacks magnesium.

“Magnesium is very important for transmitting nerve impulses,” said Sethi, quoted from Unilad, Monday (28/10/2024).

Apart from the eyelids, twitching can also occur in other parts of the body. These nutrients can be obtained from green leafy vegetables, brown rice, bananas and dark chocolate.

3. Noises in Joints
