Chi Tea Opens First Out-of-State Location in Frisco, Texas – Join the Grand Opening Celebration!

A beloved destination for fried chicken lovers in the Chicago region is set to make its debut in North Texas, bringing a taste of its signature flavors to the Lone Star State.

Chi Tea has chosen Frisco as the site for its inaugural out-of-state outlet, with the grand opening scheduled for November 1, 2024, at 4 p.m. The exciting new location will be situated at 4760 Preston Road, making it a prime stop for food enthusiasts in the area.

The diverse menu is a chicken lover’s dream, featuring full-sized fried chicken sandwiches available in various levels of spiciness, alongside juicy burgers and grilled chicken options. In addition, the restaurant offers delicious beef and fried chicken sliders, perfect for sharing or satisfying those late-night cravings.

As its name suggests, tea is also a central feature at Chi Tea. Guests have the freedom to customize their beverages, choosing between a refreshing smoothie blended with ice or a more traditional tea served over ice. They can explore over a dozen enticing flavors, including mango, brown sugar milk tea, Thai tea, and honeydew, with delightful add-ons such as tapioca pearls, popping pearls, and jelly to enhance their experience.

One of the standout offerings on the menu is the popular “Big Bird,” a Nashville hot-style fried chicken sandwich served on a buttery brioche bun, topped with coleslaw and the restaurant’s signature Chi-sauce, which sets it apart. In addition, the Chi Tea Classic burger, Tigar Sugar Thai Tea, and Taro Tea Milk are fan favorites that keep diners coming back for more.

As a sweet finale, banana pudding is another cherished signature dessert that patrons won’t want to miss.

To celebrate its grand opening, Chi Tea is delighting its first 100 customers by offering 50 free chicken sliders and 50 complimentary cups of banana pudding, ensuring that the excitement is palpable on November 1.

With three established locations already thriving in the Chicago area and plans to unveil two additional spots by year’s end, this Frisco restaurant will be corporate-owned, distinguishing it from franchise competitors in the market.

In a unique twist, Chi Tea has joined forces with the creators of SpongeBob SquarePants to produce its own imaginative version of the iconic Krabby Patty, celebrating the beloved show’s 25th anniversary and adding a fun, nostalgic flair to the menu.
