Family found dead in CDMX apartment; they would have been intoxicated

MEXICO CITY.- This Monday, October 21, three members of a family were found dead and two more unconscious inside an apartment in the Stunam Fourth Stage Housing Unit, in the neighborhood Culhuacán, Coyoacán mayor’s officeMexico City (CDMX).

Emergency services went to the scene after a warning call, and upon arrival They found five people unconscious in an apartment.

Three of them—apparently the father and mother of the family, as well as a minor—died. While two other minors they were unconsciousso they were urgently transferred to a private hospital for medical care.

The death of the three people and the poisoning of two more were presumably due to food poisoning. So far the authorities have not confirmed this information.

Civil Protection elements went to the site poisoning was ruled out due to gas leaksince none were located in the area.

Elements of the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City, of the mayor’s office Coyoacanas well as paramedics.

In addition, the presence of expert services was requested to remove the bodies, collect evidence and begin investigations to determine what happened.
