Austrian woman and her children rescued from Berg in Friuli

They were stuck in thick fog at an altitude of 2,000 meters on the Rosskofel (Monte Cavallo) near Pontebba, as the rescuers reported.

After the emergency call was received, the rescuers used a short window of time with good visibility to locate the Austrians. A helicopter reached the three people and took them on board. The mother and children were taken to the base camp in Pontebba unharmed. It was not initially known where exactly they came from in Austria.
