BETHLEHEM, Pa.- In a notable announcement by the Patriot League on Monday, Bucknell and Navy each secured two prestigious weekly awards, while Lafayette also earned recognition with one award for its outstanding players in men’s soccer.

Bucknell junior midfielder Jimmy Pombor was recognized as the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week after his decisive game-winning goal in the 83rd minute clinched a thrilling 1-0 victory over Colgate, propelling the Bison forward in the standings. Contributing to this success, freshman teammate Drew Roskos was honored as the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after demonstrating exceptional skill by playing 76 minutes and assisting on Pombor’s dramatic goal.

In Navy’s impressive week, junior defender Bryce Robisch earned accolades as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, playing a pivotal role in a formidable backline that successfully posted a 1-0 shutout against Lehigh, thwarting 19 shots from their opponents. Senior goalkeeper Pierce Holbrook also gained recognition, named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week after a stellar performance that featured nine saves, marking his third shutout of the season—a testimonial to his instinctive play under pressure.

Lafayette’s senior forward Andrey McIntyre shone brightly as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after a standout performance that included two goals and an assist during the Leopards’ undefeated week, solidifying his impact on the field.

The panel of voters, comprising the League head coaches, also acknowledged several honorable mentions for their outstanding performances. Notably, these included Boston University graduate forward Aidan Bone, whose contributions in a high-stakes match were remarkable, along with American graduate midfielder Ethan Boyle, Lafayette sophomore midfielder Beaux Lizewski, Bucknell senior defender Aidan Lawlor, Holy Cross senior goalkeeper Tristan Stephani, and Navy freshman defender Keane Browne, all of whom displayed exceptional talent.
