Miami, Oct 28 (EFE).- Singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona announced the release on November 22 of the first three previews of his next studio album, ‘Seco’, which is expected to be released next year.
Through his social networks, the Guatemalan announced the simultaneous publication of the singles ‘Despacio que hay Hurris’, ‘Nirvana’ and ‘Todo Termina’, which “offer a preview of the general tone of the album, which promises a narrative musical focused on themes of vulnerability and reflection,” according to a statement from its representative office in the US.
The performer, who in 2023 closed a long international tour and after which he announced that he would be taking a break, also revealed the list of the twelve songs that the album will contain, the list of which begins with a song titled ‘Barcelona’.
The famous artist has described his next album project as “an introspective and personal proposal”, which is reflected in the album cover image that the singer shared with his followers a few days ago.
The photograph, which shows a young Arjona next to a stream, somehow symbolizes “his return to his roots,” and for this it is also based on the interpreter’s childhood nickname, ‘Seco’, the note says.
«For those who know me, I was always Ricardo, I was Arjona or Ricardo Arjona. For those who love me, I was always the DRY one,” says the singer in the statement.
