Can Sigfrido Ranucci make strange rules, can he broadcast reports on the investigations opened in Liguria while voting is taking place in that region? The Rai Supervisory Commission will say this and any requests for internal disciplinary evaluation will be requested from Rai. In fact, last night in prime time on Rai Tre, in the midst of the electoral silence, the host (who is, it should be remembered, also deputy director ad personam of Rai Tre) broadcast an investigation entitled “Our Liguria”. The former Rai director doesn’t put it down: «If I had been there I would have called the host and simply told him that this service was postponed to the following week, after the vote. Question of opportunity, of ethics. That the journalist must put himself first”, concludes Sodano. Vain hopes. Maurizio Gasparri calls for Ranucci’s commission hearing in Supervision. Roberto Bagnasco, deputy of Forza Italia, is furious: «It is an unprecedented fact that with the polls open, Rai decides to broadcast a service dedicated to one and only one of the two sides on the field, it leaves me very, very perplexed. . It’s impossible not to see the violation of electoral silence,” he says. And it’s not just Liguria. Report also takes issue with an investigation into the management of Rome’s Maxxi under the presidency of the current Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli and his former chief of staff Francesco Spano.
