Fanta and Warner Bros. Scheme Up a Spooktacular Halloween Adventure!

Get ready, ghouls and boys! This October, Fanta and Warner Bros. Pictures have concocted a delightful little horror fest that promises to elevate your Halloween experience from “meh” to “monstrously magnificent!” Yes, you heard it here first—if you thought Tim Burton’s classic flicks were already a hair-raising affair, just wait until you see how they’re mixing things up this year.

We’re talking about the Afterlife Train Experience, which premiered in the bustling city of Madrid on October 19. Your favourite fizzy orange drink has teamed up with the iconic film studio to give the Deetz family an after-dark adventure like no other. It’s like they’ve emptied the spooky rust bucket from the attic and stuffed it full of laughs, screams, and a touch of madness. The only thing scarier than Beetlejuice himself? The thought of missing out on this experience!

This isn’t just any ghost train, mind you. Oh no! Madrid has been transformed into a haunted playground where fans can immerse themselves in a unique escape room experience, dodging potential terrors and engaging in playful interactions. And guess what? A brilliant twist awaits adventurous souls eager to find a spot on that spooky train—Fanta is offering fans a chance to win a pair of prized tickets via their Coke App! It’s like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but with fewer golden tickets and more ghostly escapades.

In this interactive wonder, players are scuttling around film locations like the dusty attic of the Deetz residence to the Overworld Waiting Room and the enigmatic Graveyard Lands, all to find our favourite troublemaker, Beetlejuice. But beware, this chaos-inducing spirit loves a good game of hide-and-seek, and it ain’t gonna be easy. It’s like playing musical chairs, except the chairs are tombstones and that music is the sound of your own frazzled nerves!

And if Madrid wasn’t on your Halloween roadmap, fear not! For those on the outskirts or who simply fancy a taste of fright, Fanta is rolling out a mini escape room in Allee Újbuda, running from October 24-27. Entry’s free, though it comes with a cheeky little disclaimer: “exit is uncertain.” Sounds like a bargain to us—just how we like our vacations: riddled with uncertainty and mild terror!

What’s that? You’d prefer to enjoy these scares from the comfort of your couch? Fanta’s got you covered there too, as the escape room will be available in a digital format through the Coke app. So you can panic from anywhere, really—ideal for those who want to bring a little mayhem indoors while snacking on crisps and maintaining their couch potato status.

As Strenner Kinga, the brand manager for Fanta at Coca-Cola Hungary, said, “Halloween is the perfect time to bring consumers closer to our brand by bringing playful and witty adventures similar to the character of Beetlejuice to life.” And you thought only candy and costumes made Halloween special? Pfft, a ghost train ride while guzzling Fanta? That’s a proper treat!

This Halloween, step up your scare game and make a date with the Deetz family, unless, of course, you’re scared of, you know, fun. So grab your buddies, grab a Fanta, and let the haunted hijinks begin!

The adventure experience born from the collaboration between Fanta and Warner Bros. Pictures will open its doors to the public in October to give fans the scariest Halloween experience this year.

The continuation of Tim Burton’s classic this fall also swept Hungarian moviegoers off their feet. Thanks to the collaboration of the two iconic brands, Warner Bros. and Fanta, fans can enjoy the terrifyingly exciting story of the Deetz family not only on the screen: Afterlife Train Experience opened in Madrid on October 19, according to the press release sent to our editors.

The ghost ride is a special and unique escape room experience in Madrid, where domestic consumers could also win a pair of tickets thanks to Fanta’s prize draw through the Coke App. The trip as the main prize will last until November 2-3 and includes, in addition to the escape room, a visit to the Warner Bros. theme park. And for additional prizes, all players have to do is upload the code found in their Fanta caps to the app by November 17.

The aim of the interactive adventure game in Madrid is for the lucky winners to find Beetlejuice, who leaves a mark in each train of the ghost train. However, finding the spirit that unleashes the chaos is not an easy task. Players must travel through the film’s locations, from the dusty attic of the Deetz residence, through the Overworld Waiting Room, to the Graveyard Lands to find the troublemaker.

You don’t have to travel all the way to Madrid to enjoy Fanta’s Halloween scares: those interested can peek into a shortened version of the escape room on the ground floor at the entrance of the Allee Újbuda center between October 24-27. Entry here is free, but “exit is uncertain”, reads the opening of the escape room.
