Why is it important to record the start of construction by November 1?
From November 1 new restrictions will come into effect, reducing the permissible area and height of garden houses and other requirements. In the event that the residents do not have any evidence that the construction started before 11-01, a building permit may be required, therefore it is suggested to record the start of construction with the VTPSI program specially created for this purpose, in which only the Building Inspectorate will have access to the data provided.
How does the new tool work?
The VTPSI electronic tool allows you to record the start of construction by submitting photos with location data. Residents must enable location tracking on their mobile device and activate “location tags” in the camera settings.
It is important that not only the phone captures the location, but also the camera captures the coordinates of the photo, as this will allow an accurate representation of the construction site.
After submitting the requested information, you should receive a screen at the end of the form that the message has been submitted successfully.
The photos provided will only be used as additional evidence for the purposes of the Building Inspectorate, should questions arise in the future regarding the construction start date.
The most important thing is to ensure that the photos are properly captured.
