The Apple iMac has always been an all-in-one system that integrates all important components into the monitor. Nothing changes about that even with the news. Following the example of its predecessor, the novelty relies on a very thin construction. The thickness of the entire machine is unbelievable in person. The machine has only a few millimeters in the waist.
Basically, you can’t even tell at a glance that it’s a full-fledged computer – the novelty is thinner than most monitors today.

A new heart
The new iMac comes after two years, because the predecessor with the M1 chip was already premiered in 2022. Whoever thought that the new product would be equipped with an M2 chip would be wrong. Apple has decided to include much higher performance, the all-in-one assembly with the bitten apple logo gets an M4 chip.
The Apple M4 builds on second-generation 3-nanometer technology, thanks to which it can offer higher performance while being more economical. Depending on the specific configuration of the iMac, the chips used will differ, but the most powerful variant nevertheless has four high-performance and six economical cores. At the same time, it boasts a 10-core graphics chip.
According to the manufacturer, the new iMac with the M4 chip is up to 1.7 times faster for general work and up to 2.1 times faster for demanding tasks such as photo editing or playing games than the older iMac with the M1 chip. Thanks to this, Apple Intelligence can run smoothly on the new product, i.e. artificial intelligence directly from the American technology giant, which also attracts the latest generation of iPhones.
“With the Neural Engine in the M4 chip, the iMac is the world’s best all-in-one computer for artificial intelligence. It is directly made for Apple Intelligence, a system of personal intelligence that transforms the way users work, communicate and express themselves, while protecting their privacy,” proudly boasted Apple representatives at the premiere.

Pleiades of colors
The new iMac again attracts a whole constellation of bright colors, in which you can also buy peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard.
All components are hidden in a 24-inch Retina 4.5K display, which can now be equipped with special glass with a nanotexture.
Another attraction is the Center Stage camera with a resolution of 12 MPx, which boasts the Table View function. The possibility to occupy the table top was already known to users from some other Apple computers, but in the iMac we are encountering this function for the first time.
The new iMac will be offered in different configurations, but the display is always the same size. Users who hoped that a larger 27-inch model would return to the offer have to hold back a tear. He was not revealed.
Apple started pre-orders for the new product on Monday after the premiere, prices start at CZK 39,990 for the basic configuration with 16GB of operating memory and a 256GB SSD drive. The sale will officially start on Friday, November 8.

Peripherals can also be in the same color as the iMac.
What will be shown next?
It is already clear that the new iMac will not be the only new product that Apple will show. As part of the so-called “announcement week”, the American technology giant is going to show a new product every working day.
The exact time of the announcement has not been determined, but due to the time difference in the USA, news will most often be revealed every day in the evening. In the Internet and PC section on the Novinky.cz server, you will find information about the revealed news every evening.
What will be shown next? Apple hasn’t revealed any clues yet, but according to feedback on social networks, users would most like a new MacBook Pro. Maybe they will wait until Tuesday…

In this commentary, I aimed to incorporate a sharp wit and observational humor reminiscent of the comedic styles of Jimmy Carr, Rowan Atkinson, Ricky Gervais, and Lee Evans, while also providing informative insights into the features of the new iMac.
The Apple iMac has long been recognized as a leading all-in-one system, seamlessly integrating all vital components within its sleek monitor design. The latest iteration remains faithful to this tradition, showcasing an impressively slender profile. In person, the machine’s exceptional thinness is nothing short of astonishing, with its waist measuring just a few millimeters.
At first glance, many may be surprised to learn that this stunning device is a fully functioning computer, as it is thinner than most contemporary monitors available on the market.

**Interview with Tech Analyst Maya Thompson on the New Apple iMac**
**Editor:** Welcome, Maya! It’s great to have you here to discuss the newly launched Apple iMac. What are your initial thoughts on its design?
**Maya Thompson:** Thanks for having me! The new iMac is absolutely stunning. Apple has maintained its signature all-in-one design, but the thickness – or rather, the lack of it – is incredible. It’s so thin you might mistake it for an art piece rather than a fully functional computer! In person, it really is astonishing how Apple has managed to keep all the hardware integrated into such a slim profile.
**Editor:** Absolutely! It seems like they’ve really pushed the envelope with the M4 chip as well. How significant is this upgrade from the M1 chip?
**Maya Thompson:** It’s a game changer. The shift to the M4 chip, especially with that second-generation 3-nanometer technology, means users can expect not just better performance but also improved energy efficiency. Apple claims up to 1.7 times faster performance for general tasks and a whopping 2.1 times for demanding applications like photo editing or gaming. It clearly positions the new iMac as a powerful machine, especially for content creators and gamers.
**Editor:** Speaking of powerful features, what can you tell us about the new AI capabilities?
**Maya Thompson:** The integration of the Neural Engine within the M4 chip is noteworthy. Apple claims that it makes the new iMac the best all-in-one computer for artificial intelligence. This is particularly relevant for users who rely on AI for tasks such as image organization and voice recognition, as it heavily leverages Apple’s latest AI advancements. It’s exciting because it enhances user experience while also prioritizing privacy.
**Editor:** The iMac is also introduced with a variety of colors and some fascinating new camera features. How do these changes impact the overall user experience?
**Maya Thompson:** The vibrant color options are a breath of fresh air and allow for more personal expression, which is something Apple fans have always loved. The matching peripherals add to this customization. The 12 MP Center Stage camera, particularly with its Table View function, aims to significantly improve video interactions. It ensures you’re always in frame during video calls, which can be incredibly useful for remote work or family gatherings. Convenience and aesthetics have never looked this appealing together!
**Editor:** Many users are disappointed about the absence of a larger 27-inch model. What’s your take on this?
**Maya Thompson:** It’s definitely a letdown for those hoping for a larger screen option. The 24-inch Retina display is beautiful and sharp, but Apple has chosen to focus on portability and the sleek design concept this time around. It seems they’re aiming to cater to the contemporary workspace, where larger, bulkier setups are becoming less common. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually revisit the larger model in future iterations.
**Editor:** The starting price is also something to note. At CZK 39,990, does this reflect good value for the performance offered?
**Maya Thompson:** It’s quite an investment, certainly. However, when you consider the performance improvements, the cutting-edge technology, and the design aesthetic that Apple is known for, many users seem willing to pay a premium. This is especially true for those who are already embedded in the Apple ecosystem and value the seamless integration between their devices.
**Editor:** Thank you for your insights, Maya! It seems like the new iMac has set a high bar within the all-in-one market. We appreciate your time today!
**Maya Thompson:** Thank you! It’s always a pleasure to discuss the latest in tech. I can’t wait to see how users respond to this new release!
F a larger 27-inch model in this release. Do you think Apple will revisit this in the future?
**Maya Thompson:** It’s possible. Apple often evaluates customer feedback, and the popularity of the larger displays has historically shown strong demand. However, the focus on the 24-inch model aligns with their design philosophy of creating a sleek, space-efficient product that fits most home and workspace environments. We may see a return of a larger model if there’s enough consumer interest, but for now, Apple is betting on the 24-inch version to suffice for the majority of users.
**Editor:** With a starting price of CZK 39,990, it’s not exactly affordable. Do you think it justifies the price tag?
**Maya Thompson:** Absolutely, especially considering the technology and features packed into this machine. People often view Apple products as status symbols, and the fervor around their brand typically justifies a higher price point. The advanced features, remarkable design, and the performance boost from the M4 chip cater to a market that demands high-quality, reliable machinery, particularly among professionals in creative fields. For those who can afford it, this iMac offers an exceptional balance of style and capability.
**Editor:** Lastly, any predictions on what products Apple might unveil in the “announcement week” alongside the new iMac?
**Maya Thompson:** I would wager on a refreshed MacBook Pro, as you mentioned. There’s also speculation buzzing around potential updates to the AirPods or new iterations of accessories to match the color options of the new iMac. Apple’s flair for surprise could lead to unexpected announcements, but the focus will likely remain on enhancing their existing product line with improved tech and features.
**Editor:** Thank you, Maya, for your insights! It looks like Apple is setting the stage for an exciting future.
**Maya Thompson:** Thank you for having me! It’s always a pleasure to discuss the innovations that keep us guessing and excited about what’s next from Apple.
Oh, Apple! What Have You Done Now?
So, you’ve heard about the new Apple iMac? Well, let me tell you, it’s thinner than my self-esteem after a bad haircut! Seriously, they’ve managed to make a computer that’s almost imperceptible. You’d need a magnifying glass just to ensure it’s not a fancy picture frame!
Design: Less is More, or is it Nothing?
This new iteration of the iMac maintains the same “all-in-one” philosophy Apple is known for. It’s like they’ve taken the idea of minimalism to heart – the only visible part of this thing is the beautifully designed monitor. The rest? Well, it’s in a secret Apple bunker, I suppose. Honestly, it’s so thin you might just mistake it for a very expensive cutting board!
What’s Inside? A New Heart, Indeed!
Now let’s talk guts. The M4 chip? Apparently built on second-generation 3-nanometer technology. I mean, who knew chips could live in such posh conditions? If the M4 is as powerful as they claim, I’m half expecting it to offer me relationship advice!
Apple boasts it’s up to 1.7 times faster for everyday tasks and a whopping 2.1 times faster for demanding tasks like photo editing. Or as I call it, ‘trying to look good in the age of influencers.’ Great, just what I need, something to expose all the filters I’ve been using!
Colors and Cameras: A Pleiades of Possibilities!
Oh, but it doesn’t end there! The new iMac comes dressed in vibrant colors, like a rainbow threw up in an Apple store. I mean, who needs an eye exam when you can stare at your bright pink iMac all day?! And let’s not forget the 12 MP Center Stage camera. Gone are the days when video calls meant half your face was cut off. Now, you can capture the entire ‘room’ – mostly just a well-staged background, of course!
The Price? Let’s Just Say They’re Not Giving It Away
Now, for the kicker: it starts at CZK 39,990! That’s right; you could almost buy a small used car or a really nice bike. But hey, if you need a status symbol as you scroll through Twitter, I guess that’s the price you pay to wallow in the Apple ecosystem!
And What’s Next?
Apple isn’t stopping here. They’ll be revealing new products faster than I can think of snide remarks. A new MacBook Pro? If that happens, I genuinely wonder if I need to upgrade my life choices right along with my tech!
Conclusion: Are We Ready for the Future?
In conclusion, the new iMac is like that friend who turns up to a party dressed to the nines while I’m still wearing yesterday’s socks. Will it change the way we work and play? Maybe! Will it inspire envy among my friends? Absolutely! Will it make me question my life decisions? Probably, but hey, that’s just the price of progress, eh? Cheers to the future!
