The Egyptian Minister denounced the obstacles placed by the Israeli army in the way of bringing humanitarian aid into Gaza, and its control over the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, in addition to undermining the work of humanitarian relief organizations and United Nations agencies, and even targeting a large number of United Nations employees and its official agencies, led by UNRWA.
Minister Abdel Ati also reviewed the Egyptian, Qatari and American efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of hostages and prisoners.
The official spokesman added that Minister Abdel Ati touched on the dangerous situation in the West Bank in light of the systematic Israeli violations and abuses, as he condemned the Israeli attacks on West Bank cities and camps, and the attempts to legitimize and expand settlement outposts inside it in violation of Security Council resolutions and international law.
Abdel Ati stressed the importance of all parties of the international community playing an active role in supporting the activities of UNRWA in support of Palestinian refugees.
For his part, the Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed his deep appreciation to the Egyptian President and his efforts to support the Palestinian people, praising the fraternal relations that bind the two countries and peoples, and the efforts undertaken by Egypt to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and restore their right to self-determination.
