Hersonissos: A hunter was seriously injured – He fell in a difficult place

Peloponnese Newsroom

An operation to rescue a hunter in the mountains of Hersonissos, between Mathias and Amarianos, has been underway since noon on Saturday.

As cretapost.gr reports, the man was seriously injured in the waist after falling in a difficult place, while he was in the area with two other people.

The situation mobilized EMAK, which rushed to the scene with five rescuers, while four other rescuers are heading there from the Peninsula.

The operation is considered demanding and time-consuming due to the difficulty of the terrain, but the positive thing is that the injured person is conscious and is under observation.
