A negative economic environment as well as the three megatrends artificial intelligence, sustainability/climate change and global location competition are shaping the economy. How we can get out of stagnation, how we can actively shape sustainability and how successful restructuring can be achieved are topics at the 23rd edition of the “Controlling Insights Steyr” (CIS) event. The CIS motto “Business Performance through Controlling Excellence” refers to the upheavals and challenges. Heimo Losbichler, CEO of the International Controller Association ICV, welcomes speakers such as Gabriel Felbermayr, director of the economic research institute Wifo (he talks about ways out of stagnation), Walter Feichtinger, president of the Center for Strategic Analyzes (“World out of joint – where is Europe ?”), and Sabrina Manschek, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy Austria (“Sustainability as a burden or an opportunity?”).
