Cardenales overwhelmed Navegantes in a clash in Valencia

Cardenales de Lara (6-7) achieved its second victory of the third week against the same rival, Navegantes del Magallanes (7-6), with a score of 16-4 at the José Bernardo Pérez in the city of Valencia.

David Villarroel, a member of the feathered press department, reported that the winning pitcher for the crepusculars was the right-hander Jesús Valles (2-0), while the loss went to the naval left-hander Yohander Méndez (0-1).

The Red Birds had a total of 16 hits, eight of them extra-base hits, including two home runs.
