According to the official news agency Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), thanks to this feat, Arshad Nadeem has also reached the final of the javelin throw competition in the World Championship on Sunday.
The 26-year-old Commonwealth Games gold medalist Arshad Nadeem finished first in Group B.
That as a whole India K finished second behind Neeraj Chopra, who started his campaign in Group A with a throw of 88.77m.
The qualifying mark for the 2024 Paris Olympics is 85.50 metres. The qualifying round started on July 1.

Arshad’s first attempt was not impressive as he started with a throw of 70.63 metres. However, he performed impressively in his second attempt with a throw of 81.53 meters.
Nadeem rose to fame by finishing fifth in the Tokyo Olympics.
Last year, he finished fifth in the World Championships. Soon after, he won the gold medal at the Commonwealth Games at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham (UK) with a throw of 90.18m.
With this feat, he became the first South Asian athlete to cross the 90m milestone.
