POSITION OF GENERAL DIRECTOR

SPORSORA is the reference organization for thinking about and influencing the responsible development of the sports economy. SPORSORA today brings together more than 280 players in the sports ecosystem (advertisers, agencies, sports organizations, sports venues and arenas, media, study and training institutes, start-ups).
We organize around forty events per year, numerous expert meetings around important themes in the field of sport, offer services to our members and carry out influence actions.
We are recruiting our general director.
Your missions:
Reporting to the president of SPORSORA, your missions will be as follows:
General management
1. Implementation and management of the general strategy of the organization decided with the executive office and the board of directors
2. Planning and supervision of the organization’s activities in conjunction with the board of directors (events, colleges and commissions, member services, communication)
3. Management of a team of 7 people
4. Administrative and financial management
Network
5. Animation and development of the SPORSORA network
6. Media spokesperson for the organization
7. Management of influence actions with institutional opinion leaders
Development
8. Impetus for SPORSORA’s development and innovation actions.
These missions are not restrictive.
The profile sought:
You have significant experience of at least 10 years within the sports ecosystem which gives you a good understanding of the challenges of the sector and its various stakeholders as well as general management experience.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:
• Versatility, adaptability, having the ability to lead projects in complete autonomy
• Great energy to get all stakeholders on board
• Rigor in management
• Great interpersonal skills facilitating networking
• Ability to interact with major leaders and political actors
• Ability to speak in public and lead debates
• Personality capable of embodying the organization
• Good level of English
