The ICCT is currently on the lookout for a highly motivated intern to join our Beijing office. This position involves contributing to the advancement and high-quality development of China’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure network, a crucial area aiming to support sustainable transportation.
You Will:
- Play an integral role in research projects aimed at the high-quality development of China’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure network.
- Engage in detailed technical analysis under the expert mentorship of ICCT’s accomplished research staff.
- Assist in the preparation of insightful reports and outreach materials that communicate our findings and recommendations effectively.
- Handle various ad-hoc tasks and additional duties as assigned by the team.
You Have:
- Completed the majority of an undergraduate program, ideally in your final year, or be a graduate student, with a focus on areas such as Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A solid understanding of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, electric power systems, and vehicle-grid integration, bolstered by relevant project experience, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, allowing for efficient data handling and presentation.
- Experience with programming languages and software such as Python, further enhancing your technical toolkit.
- Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English, facilitating effective communication within our multilingual environment.
- Availability to commit 3-5 days per week, ideally around 30 hours weekly, over a minimum duration of 6 months.
Our Benefits:
The internship will be hosted in the bustling ICCT Beijing office and is designed to last for 6 months, with potential for extension based on mutual agreement. The organization will supply necessary tools such as a laptop and other office equipment to aid your work effectively. We are offering a competitive stipend of CNY ¥4,000 per month for 30 hours of work per week, or an amount proportional to the university’s workload regulations.
