“Cinevilla Danger fest” will be enjoyed for 9 days this year – from October 25 to November 2this year’s title is “Legends Meet – Mission Amulet”. What lies beneath this intriguing name? We asked the authors and implementers of its ideas – Marek Dambi and Aneta Vanceviča.
They say that when it gets dark, every day from 18.00 – 23.00 the entire “Cinevilla” will turn into a meeting place of legends, where every visitor will have the opportunity to find the missing amulet components at 27 stations.

Marek enthuses: “Everything will start with open-air and light projections and a short film, during which visitors will receive instructions so that the amulet’s mission can begin. Every round hour, an alarm signal will start sounding throughout the city, inviting everyone to Amulet Square to enjoy a specially created performance by dancers, actors and legends and a laser show by “Ronin Lasers”. On the other hand, on holiday evenings, October 25 and on October 26 at 8 p.m0, the festival “Cinevilla Danger fest” will be performed by the group “Latgalīšu reps”.
Anete adds: “This year we are growing in size and from the event we have already become the festival “Cinevilla Danger fest”, which we want to create as a lasting value for the people of Latvia. Over the course of nine days, we will be creating the story of Amulet in the entire film city, not just in one part of it, as was the case last year. The event will be like a real work of art, as the legends will wake up after dark and gather together with dancers and musicians at Amulet Square once an hour to create a joint art performance. Our legends are not dolls, but live actors, with whom everyone will have the opportunity to take a photo.”
This year, every visitor will have the opportunity not only to enjoy the charm of the decorated, illuminated city and to be scared, but also to participate in the mission of solving the story, completing various legendary tasks and receiving special prizes and surprises.

Visit on Halloween and everyday! Both big and small are welcome here, and you can safely bring obedient dogs with you. Every day, the town is open to visitors from 10.00-19.00, but in the winter months until approximately 17.00. “Cinevilla” is located 15 km from Tukums, in Pravinės, Slampe parish.
