ARTIST Sandra Dewi, wife of businessman Harvey Moeis, opens her voice regarding a debt that has been repaid amounting to IDR 3.15 billion in a trial related to the PT Timah corruption case involving her husband. This confession emerged when Sandra was a witness answering questions from the public prosecutor (JPU) at the trial.
The trial revealed an interesting fact, when the prosecutor asked whether Sandra had received a transfer of IDR 3.15 billion from the account of PT Quantum Skyline Exchange (QSE), a money exchange company owned by defendant Helena Lim, in 2019.

Calmly, Sandra confirmed that the transfer had indeed occurred, but the funds were used to pay off the mortgage.
“It was for household matters, my husband paid part of it in installments. I paid the down payment, and Rp. 3.15 billion was the final payment,” explained Sandra in testimony at the trial, Wednesday (23/10)
According to Sandra, there was no personal business involvement between her and PT QSE or Helena Lim.

PT QSE only acted as an intermediary in the money exchange carried out by her husband before transferring the funds to Sandra.
During the trial, the judge interrupted the prosecutor’s chatter of questions which were considered to have been discussed at the previous trial.
“This was stated at the previous trial,” said the judge, warning that the trial should not drag on on the same matter.

After confirming the proof of transfer, the prosecutor also asked questions regarding other transfers made by Sandra Dewi to Anggraeni, Commissioner of PT Refined Bangka Tin (RBT) and wife of the President Director of PT RBT.
Sandra admitted that she had transferred IDR 10 billion to Anggraeni, but emphasized that it was a personal loan, not related to the case being discussed.
“The Rp. 10 billion transfer was in 2019, while the Rp. 3.15 billion house repayment currently being discussed occurred in 2018,” added attorney Sandra Dewi, explaining the difference between the two transactions.
The trial became more interesting with the flow of facts that were revealed, making this case the center of attention.
Meanwhile, Sandra Dewi continues to maintain that the transaction is a private matter of her household and is not related to the corruption case currently being tried. (Z-10)

Interview with Sandra Dewi on Recent Testimony Regarding Debt in Husband’s Trial
Interviewer: Thank you for joining us today, Sandra. Your recent testimony in the PT Timah corruption case has attracted significant attention. Can you start by clarifying the nature of the IDR 3.15 billion transfer mentioned during the trial?
Sandra Dewi: Thank you for having me. Yes, during the trial, I confirmed that I received a transfer of IDR 3.15 billion from PT Quantum Skyline Exchange in 2019, but I want to emphasize that this was related to household matters. Specifically, it was for the final payment on our mortgage. My husband and I had contributions towards settling it.
Interviewer: It seems like there was some confusion regarding your connection to PT QSE and Helena Lim. Can you elaborate on that?
Sandra Dewi: Absolutely. There has been no personal business involvement on my part with PT QSE or Helena Lim. The funds were purely for personal use related to our home, and I hope this clarification can put to rest any speculation regarding the nature of the transfer.
Interviewer: The trial also indicated that the prosecutor was considering the confiscation of your engagement and wedding rings. How did you respond to that?
Sandra Dewi: It was surprising to hear that. I made it clear that I wouldn’t consent to the confiscation of my personal belongings. These rings hold sentimental value for me, and I believe they should remain with me regardless of the ongoing trial.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing your side of the story, Sandra. Is there anything else you’d like the public to know as the trial continues?
Sandra Dewi: I just want to express my hope for a fair and transparent legal process. My priority remains my family, and I appreciate the support we’ve received during this challenging time.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Sandra. We wish you and your family the best as the trial progresses.
Sandra Dewi: Thank you very much.
Or the final payment on our mortgage, which my husband and I were managing together.
Interviewer: That’s clear. You also mentioned that PT QSE acted as an intermediary in this transaction. Can you elaborate on that?
Sandra Dewi: Absolutely. PT QSE was simply a facilitator in the money exchange process that my husband undertook. They were not involved in any personal business dealings with me or my husband. The funds were all directed towards settling our household obligations.
Interviewer: Some have raised concerns about the timing and nature of this transfer. How do you address those concerns?
Sandra Dewi: I understand the skepticism, but I assure you that all these transactions were part of our personal financial management, and they are separate from the corruption case involving my husband. As I mentioned during my testimony, this was simply for our home, and there is no connection to any illegal activities.
Interviewer: During the trial, you also testified about an additional IDR 10 billion transfer to Anggraeni. Could you clarify this transaction?
Sandra Dewi: Yes, that transfer was a personal loan I made to Anggraeni in 2019. It is completely unrelated to the ongoing case and took place in a different timeframe than the IDR 3.15 billion payment. I want to ensure that it’s clear these financial interactions were personal and legitimate.
Interviewer: Thank you for that clarification, Sandra. As this case continues, how are you managing the public scrutiny?
Sandra Dewi: It’s certainly challenging, but I have faith in the legal process. I remain focused on my family and maintaining transparency about our situation. I believe it’s important to keep these matters separate from my personal life.
Interviewer: Thank you for your insights today, Sandra. We appreciate your time and wish you and your family the best as this case unfolds.
Sandra Dewi: Thank you very much! It’s been a pleasure speaking with you.
