Cabinet SECRETARY (Seskab) Major Teddy Indra Wijaya warned the entire Red and White Cabinet to be careful in using letterheads and signatures.
This is the aftermath of the case of the Minister of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions Development, Yandri Susanto, using the ministry’s official letterhead for personal purposes.
“Yes, everyone is reminded to be careful in taking steps, especially those involving personal and family interests, not to use them (for) ministries,” said Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setadi, at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, October 23 2024.

Budi dismissed this message as a warning to Yandri. He considered that it was only an appeal to all levels of the Red and White Cabinet in maintaining public trust.
“We must be alert together. We must maintain this great public trust together,” he explained.
Apart from that, Budi revealed that Major Teddy did not convey this warning directly. But via the Whatsapp group.

“In the WhatsApp group (he conveyed it),” he said.
Previously, Mahfud MD highlighted the Minister of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions Development (Mendes PDT), Yandri Susanto, who issued an official ministry invitation to his private event. The invitation ordered all village heads to attend the second haul event for the late Yandri Susanto’s mother.
“That’s why I said, if it’s true, it’s wrong to violate bureaucratic ethics too. Yes, hopefully it will be clarified soon,” said Mahfud.
Mahfud also regretted this, because the minister from PAN used the agency’s facilities for his personal and family needs.
“It’s not permissible, for personal matters like that to use the minister’s header and seal, because that means it is the ministry’s job,” he explained. (M-4)
