Regarding Israel, Pakistan will not imitate any country, will decide on national interest: Caretaker Foreign Minister

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that there is no thought of recognizing Israel in Pakistan. And the Palestine issue is the same.

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani while holding a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar participated in several conferences on the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly, Caretaker Prime Minister also addressed various conferences, Caretaker Prime Minister visited America. During the meeting, he held bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Iran and Uzbekistan and the Vice President of China. There he also met with various leaders including Bill Gates. Jalil Abbas said that in the meeting of the contact group, the aggression of the Indian forces was condemned and demanded the solution of the Kashmir issue according to the UN resolutions. The Caretaker Foreign Minister said that there were questions in America about recognizing Israel, Pakistan will take every decision in this regard keeping in mind the national interest, there is no thought of recognizing Israel in Pakistan. The Palestinians should get the right to self-determination, the solution to the Palestine problem is a free state and Al-Quds should be the capital of the free Palestinian state, Pakistan’s position on Israel is consistent, Pakistan is not an imitation of any country, it will decide on the national interest, the problem for us. Palestine and Kashmir are the same.

He said that the United Nations has approved March 15 as the International Day against Islamophobia, Pakistan has never been isolated at the global level, foreign ministers of different countries met with us on the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly. Pakistan is an important democratic country and is also a member of important committees.

The caretaker foreign minister said that the whole world, including Pakistan, is deeply concerned about the terrorist incidents that have taken place inside Pakistan in the past few weeks. It is the responsibility of the Afghan interim government to stop the attacks on Pakistan from inside Afghanistan. Yes, the Afghan Interim Government had assured that the territory of Afghanistan will not be used and we hope that the Afghan Interim Government will keep its word.
