MEXICO CITY.- The president Claudia Sheinbaum announced the construction of at least one million new homes and the regularization of another million.
Said housing program will be implemented with the collaboration of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) and the National Housing Commission (I tried).

The rental housing program will be aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years of age in housing units near educational centers and industrial areas.
Chávez explained that he will have a temporary period of five years and may be extended for two more years.
“An affordable income that does not exceed 30% of the income of young workers, and for students, a socioeconomic study is carried out to determine the ability to pay,” he noted.
The Presidency indicated that the program seeks to address the growing need for housing in the country.
It is estimated that by 2025, 2.8 million new homes will be required, while in 2030 an accumulated need of 6.6 million is estimated.
