MEXICO CITY.— This Monday, a survey published by the firm From the Heras Demotechnicsreported that the 90% of Mexicans they believe that the new president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardowill make a good job in office.
According to the study, carried out between October 6 and 9, a week after Claudia Sheinbaum came to power, nine out of ten interviewed, regardless of whether they voted for her or not, affirm that she will be a good president, while only 4% think the opposite.
77% of those surveyed say they have a good opinion, the preferred option, or very good, of Claudia Sheinbaum, who, on the contrary, accumulates only 5% negative opinions.

Another fact that represents optimism with the president among those questioned is that 87% believe that the country will improve with her at the helm, an opinion faced by only 7% of those questioned.
The survey reserves an important space for the recently approved reform of the judicial power, by which Mexicans will elect judges and magistrates at the polls, a constitutional modification that 67% of those surveyed consider will improve the national justice system.
Distrust in the judiciary is reflected in the fact that 56% of those surveyed believe that there is corruption in it, 36% believe that there are “few” corrupt people and only two out of every hundred Mexicans affirm that there is no corruption in the justice system. country.
69% believe that the best way to elect judges and magistrates is through popular election, a figure that drops seven percentage points in the case of Supreme Court ministers.
However, almost half of those interviewed, 46%, claim to have not been aware of the main changes that the judicial reform entailed until it was approved.
The pollster indicated that the consultation was carried out through 1,400 interviews in homes throughout the country with people over 18 years of age who had identification to vote.
In the last general elections on June 2, in which Sheinbaum Pardo won comfortably, De las Heras Demotecnia was one of the most accurate polls in predicting the advantage of the official candidate over the opposition.
Claudia Sheinbaum gives her opinion on the survey
During her morning town conference, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, gave her opinion on the survey published this Monday by the firm De las Heras Demotecnia.
Regarding the results that favor her, the president said that, first of all, “To thank the people of Mexico for their trust and always say that we are not going to fail, that we are going to work as necessary, triple, quadruple, to be able to meet the commitments.”
“Second, the people of Mexico are happy with the fourth transformation, that is something that our adversaries have not been able to understand; They continue, well Calderón comes out with a tweet saying that, claiming that he did fight drug traffickers, when, in two days, they are going to pass sentence on his Secretary of Security, for collusion with drug traffickers, well, let’s see, explain that to me, what less so, it is cynicism, the truth is,” said the President.
Regarding his critics, Sheinbaum Pardo said that, “the problem is that they have not understood that the country has changed, that the people of Mexico want the transformation to continue, that the majority of the people of Mexico want the judges, magistrates and ministers; and that they want a government to continue that is destined for the benefit of the people and the rights of the people of Mexico.”
President Claudia Sheinbaum reiterated that, “we are not going to betray nor we are going to disappoint, we are going to work every day, we are going to continue in the territory, we are going to continue communicating with the people and we are going to fulfill the 100 commitments that we established.”
He also said that the transformation “began many years ago in the conscience of the people of Mexico,” and added that it was consolidated with the government of former President López Obrador, which, he assures, was “honesty” and “gave results,” “it is honesty.” that gives results for the benefit of the people.”
“So, that is what you see here (in the survey graph), thank you and we are not going to disappoint, we are not going to betray the trust of the people,” the president concluded.
