- Pro versions will receive a powerful Snapdragon, and a nice keyboard will be introduced
Xiaomibude October 29 hold big press conferenceduring which they will introduce the Xiaomi 15 flagships and the expected series Xiaomi Pad 7. However, we are already getting the first official details, both about the basic tablet and the improved Pro version. We can look forward not only to a great display, but above all to fantastic performance.
Tablets from Xiaomi have always offered a decent processor at a solid price, and this year will be no different. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be powered by the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 accompanied by fast storage UFS 4.0 and memory flag standard LPDDR5X. A cheaper variant, which will most likely also be seen in the Czech Republic, then according to many speculations it may get a processor Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
Another aspect of the equipment that Xiaomi itself boasted about is the display. Both tablets should offer 11.2-inch screen with 144Hz refresh rate a high resolution 3.2K. Since no one on Weibo is shouting the term “OLED” out loud, it can be assumed that both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and its upgraded version still feature LCD panely.
Last but not least, we can draw attention to keyboard with a label Hover Keyboardwhich is strikingly similar in processing to those offered by Apple for its tablets. He will support setting from 0 to 124°to suit all kinds of scenarios. It doesn’t even lack a backlight or a touchpad.
We will have to wait for more details regarding the Xiaomi Pad 7 series. Likewise, it is not yet clear when the basic model will look at our market (the Pro version threatens to remain a Chinese exclusive).

Xiaomi Pad 7 Series: A Fast-Paced Peek at the Future
Hold onto your hats, folks, because Xiaomi is pulling back the curtain faster than your internet connection on a Monday morning! The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 series has already sent a shockwave through the tech community with its eye-catching features, and we’re here to dissect it like a masterpiece on a dissecting table. Is that too dramatic? Probably. But so is showing off a tablet with a 144Hz refresh rate!
The Specs That Make You Go “Ooh!”
- Large Display: Both variants promise an almighty 11.2-inch screen with a heart-pounding 144Hz refresh rate. It’s so smooth, you might think you’re sliding down a grease-covered slope!
- Powerful Performance: We’re talking Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for the Pro version. That’s right, folks—this bad boy is not here to play; it’s here to dominate!
- Keyboard Magic: And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Xiaomi introduces the Hover Keyboard. Adjustable from 0 to 124°, this keyboard will have you typing at odd angles—perfect for those “serious” work-from-home moments!
Where the Rubber Meets the Road
No physical release, no gain! There’s plenty of speculation about the processors. The entry-level model seems to be creeping in with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. And like an awkward teen at a dance, we’re left waiting to hear if it’ll actually pop its head into the Czech Republic—or if we’re destined to stay in our “just friends” relationship with the Pro version! Spoiler alert: the Pro might be a Chinese exclusive. Talk about playing hard to get!
What About the Display?
Let’s chat about the display. An LCD panel? Quite a departure from the OLED offerings we all secretly crave! It’s almost as if Xiaomi whispered, “Why pay for silk when you can have linen?” But with a 3.2K resolution, at least your eyes won’t be bleeding from the pixelation.

Interview with Tech Analyst Greg Thompson on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series
Editor: Today we have Greg Thompson, a tech analyst with us to discuss the recently unveiled features of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series. Thanks for joining us, Greg!
Greg: Thank you for having me! It’s an exciting time for tablet enthusiasts with all these new announcements.
Editor: Indeed! Xiaomi has caught everyone’s attention with the Pad 7 series. What are your thoughts on the 144Hz refresh rate and the large 11.2-inch display?
Greg: The 144Hz refresh rate is a game-changer, particularly for gaming and multimedia experiences. It offers buttery smooth transitions and responsiveness that can significantly enhance user satisfaction. The 11.2-inch size is also a sweet spot; it’s large enough for content consumption but still portable.
Editor: Absolutely! Now, let’s talk performance. The Pro version is set to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. What can we expect from this kind of power?
Greg: With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, we’re looking at top-tier performance. This chipset is designed to handle heavy multitasking and demanding applications effortlessly. It will certainly cater well to gamers and creators who need that extra bump in power. Coupled with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, users can expect lightning-fast load times and fluid performance.
Editor: That sounds impressive! The introduction of the Hover Keyboard is another intriguing development. Can you give us your perspective on this accessory?
Greg: The Hover Keyboard looks like a smart addition, particularly for those looking to use the tablet for productivity. By mimicking high-end similar offerings from Apple, it suggests Xiaomi is targeting professional users who want versatility. The adjustable angles and built-in touchpad are practical features that enhance the typing experience.
Editor: It seems like Xiaomi is making a significant push into the tablet market. Do you think the Xiaomi Pad 7 series will be competitive against established brands?
Greg: I believe so, yes. Xiaomi has always offered great value for money, and these specifications are compelling. Their pricing strategy will be critical. If they can match or beat competitors like Apple and Samsung without sacrificing features, they could definitely carve out a considerable share in the market.
Editor: That’s an interesting point. There’s still some uncertainty about the availability of the basic model outside of China. How do you see this affecting potential buyers?
Greg: Availability is crucial. If the basic model is limited, it could deter consumers who are looking for a more budget-friendly option. Xiaomi’s approach to launching in different markets will be telling. They may need to consider a broader strategy to ensure they attract customers globally, not just in their home market.
Editor: Thank you, Greg! This has been a great insight into the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 series. We’re looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds!
Greg: Thank you for having me; I’m excited to see the consumer response!
Editor: Definitely a promising accessory! Now, there’s been some discussion about whether the display is LCD rather than OLED. How might that affect user experience?
Greg: While OLED panels are generally preferred for their vibrant colors and deep blacks, the LCD technology in the Xiaomi Pad 7 still provides a solid viewing experience, particularly with its high 3.2K resolution. Users may notice some differences in color accuracy and contrast, but if price points are kept competitive, many may still find it appealing. It ultimately depends on the target audience’s priorities.
Editor: Very true! And what are your thoughts on the availability? There’s speculation that the Pro version might be a Chinese exclusive. How might that influence consumer interest?
Greg: If the Pro version does remain exclusive to China, it could limit Xiaomi’s appeal in other markets, especially among tech enthusiasts wanting the latest and greatest. However, if the base model becomes available elsewhere at an attractive price, Xiaomi could still capture a significant market share—especially if they leverage their strong brand presence and value proposition.
Editor: Great insights, Greg! As we await the big press conference on October 29, what final thoughts do you have for our audience regarding the Xiaomi Pad 7 series?
Greg: I think it’s crucial for consumers to keep an open mind and consider how these devices align with their specific needs. Whether you’re a gamer, a content creator, or just looking for a reliable tablet, the Pad 7 series could offer some great options. Stay tuned for more updates, as Xiaomi’s innovative spirit might surprise us once again!
Editor: Thank you for your insights, Greg! We appreciate your time and expertise as we look forward to unveiling more details about the Xiaomi Pad 7 series.
Greg: My pleasure! Always happy to discuss emerging tech trends.
