OKO Restoranid, operating in Haapsalu Kursaal, is among the ten nominees of Estonia’s biggest business competition “Estonia’s best companies”.

The Enterprise and Innovation Foundation (EIS) and the Estonian Employers’ Union selected the best in seven categories and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in three categories. “Now two separate competitions will become one, and the Estonian company of the year will be announced on November 2 from among the winners of different categories. I would like to thank all the companies that participated in the competition from the bottom of my heart. Your innovativeness, commitment and courage will move our economy forward,” said Kati Kusmin, chairman of the EIS board.

The title of tourism promoter of the year was awarded to OKO restaurants, which also offers catering in Haapsalu Kuursaal. OKO Restoranid is a chain of top Estonian restaurants, which also includes NOA Chef’s Hall (one star in the Michelin restaurant guide), NOA restaurant (Bib Gourmand in the Michelin guide, i.e. among restaurants with a good price-quality ratio), Tuljak (Bib Gourmand in the Michelin guide), OKO, Paju Villa (on the recommended list of the Michelin guide), plus subsidiaries TOKO and POKO. OKO Restoranid has been on the market for a long time and has maintained top quality even in the face of crises.

In addition to the tourism promoter of the year, the exporter of the year Nortal, the digitizer of industry of the year Harju Elekter, the innovator of the year DefSecIntel, the sustainable company of the year Estiko-Plastar, the family business of the year Bauroc, the foreign investor of the year HANZA Mechanics Tartu, the most competitive industrial and energy company of the year Eesti Gaas, the most competitive commercial company of the year are also candidates for the title of the best company of the year Auto 100 and Swedbank, the most competitive service company of the year.
