Asunción, IP Agency.- The export of Paraguayan products added nine new destination markets in the month of September, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Among the markets, some are being reached for the first time, while others were exported products that previously had no entry in those countries.
Among the new markets, the export of frozen meat to Bosnia-Herzegovina and peanuts to Bulgaria stands out. Likewise, in September, cotton was exported to the Thai market, for an amount close to 300 million dollars.
Significant amounts also represented exports of aluminum and copper scrap to the markets of Singapore and Vietnam, for values exceeding $180,000 for each destination.
Regarding the South American region, in September the export of synthetic fiber mats to Argentina, aluminum covers to Peru and steel billets to Brazil was achieved, as well as pillows to the Ecuadorian market.
With these new markets and exported items, Paraguay reinforces its position as a key player in the export of agricultural, industrial and consumer products, under the vision of sustainable economic growth promoted by the government.
