Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to the Sporting Hilarity of Kryvbas vs Zora!

Ah, the sweet symphony of sport! Where men chase after a ball as if it holds the secret to eternal happiness, or at least the next paycheck. We witnessed just that in the recent UPL clash between Kryvbas and Zora.

It had all the makings of a classic: drama, tension, and moments where you ponder if the players were, in fact, trying to score goals or just auditioning for the next installment of America’s Got Talent with their foot skills.

The Build-Up: A Match Made in Footballing Heaven

Both teams returned from a two-week international break, likely filled with dreams of grandeur, only to discover that sometimes, the grass is not greener on the other side—especially when it’s painted green for aesthetics. For Kryvbas, the triumphant return of Biziman and Sosa (the duo so hot they could lead a sauna!) was the headline, but would they rise to the occasion or miss the memo like they’re perpetually stuck in airplane mode?

First Half: Finding Their Feet (or Not)

The first half saw Zora flex their muscles a bit, looking more active than a toddler after a sugar rush! Jordan almost scored with a header—but it was Klischuk, safe as a bank vault, who thwarted that particular heist. And then there was Michin, who fired a shot so low it was practically in the basement.

Fast forward to Kryvbas in the 15th minute—ah, Ilyich steps up, dances around a defender, and unleashes a low shot that would have fit right in at an amateur performance of The Nutcracker. Not great, but hey, the things we do for art!

Then came the dramatic ups and downs. Amoroso almost made it happen from the penalty line—nice technique, but the goalkeeper must have been half-psychic to read that one and make a save like he was swatting a fly. At some point, we firmly believed that the nets were just decorative pieces and not meant to catch anything.

The Second Half: A Masterpiece of Madness

The second half kicked off, and oh boy, did Kryvbas come out swinging like they discovered the secret to life—or free coffee at the players’ lounge! Ilyich’s secretive pass had Sosa blasting a shot into the far corner, and just like that, it’s 0:1! (Insert celebratory dance here—something like a mix of the Macarena and a toddler on a sugar high).

But wait, there’s more! In quick succession, Vakulko almost turned from hero to zero, setting Sosa up for a one-on-one that ended with a resounding thud against the post. It was almost Shakespearean—a tragic comedy unfolding before our eyes!

Back-and-forth clashes continued with the agility of a cat on a hot tin roof. Mykytyshyn nearly scored—really, he almost tipped his hat—but Turbaevsky wasn’t having any of it. And let’s not forget the nail-biting moment when Ponedelnyk almost delivered a gift to his own net! Must have been that pre-match curry.

Time was ticking, tension was rising, and Sosa had the audacity to hit the post not once, but twice! Talk about commitment issues. I mean, it’s getting to the point where they should put a “for sale” sign on that post—forever twirling like it’s part of a bridal display.

In Conclusion: The Sweet Taste of Victory!

“Kryvbas” walked away with a much-needed win at the end of this thrilling rollercoaster. As they high-fived each other, fans were left on the edge of their seats, catching their breaths and plotting strategies for the next matchup. It’s what keeps football fans coming back—because, let’s face it, there’s nothing quite like a bit of chaos and jamboree, is there?

Let’s all raise a toast (or a soft drink, for those still sober) to the ineffable journey of football where every match, every player, and every moment leaves us yearning for more.

In the 10th round of UPL “Kryvbas” played in Kyiv against “Zora”. It was the first match for both teams after a two-week international break. It is important that the day before they returned to the location of the red and white teams of Biziman and Sosa. And if the first one remained in the reserve, and Ilyich took his place, then the second one appeared at the start on the edge.

The first half

The beginning of the game remained for Lugansk, who looked a little more active. After serving from the corner, Jordan headed dangerously – Klischuk got the ball in the corner to his left. At the same time, Michin punched from the bottom – Andriy is back in place. “Kryvbas” responded in the 15th minute, when Ilyich, easily beating the opponent, shot from the middle distance with a low shot. Not bad, but overall no problems for Turbaevsky.

Closer to the middle of the half, the people of Kryvyi Rih seized the initiative. In the 22nd minute, we created the first real moment. Amoroso had a chance to shoot on the penalty line. Matteo shot at the technique, but the goalkeeper figured out his intention. Later, another cool opportunity. There was a good flank attack. Kuzyk gave it back, Mykytyshyn knocked it down with a heel – Sosa shot from a superposition, but somehow miraculously did not hit the near corner.

Later, the teams exchanged long shots. They were Antiukh and Kuzyk. Towards the end of the half, the game calmed down a bit, and we didn’t see any more chances.

The second half

The debut of the second half was completely left to “Kryvbas”. Activity at the beginning led to a goal against Turbaevskii. Ilyich made an original hidden pass on the left flank, Sosa pushed the opponent away with his body, broke into the penalty area and powerfully punched into the far corner with a rebound from the lawn – 0:1!

The red and white team went forward on the wave of success. And literally in the next attack they had to score a second time. Vakulko with a barely noticeable touch in the fight brought the same Sosa tête-à-tête with the goalkeeper – rack! A second-tempo attack – Amoroso is already in a striking position – the crossbar, from which the ball hits the post again. “Zorya” fought back…

In the future, the game was played on opposing courses. Mykytyshyn almost hit the near corner from a sharp corner, but Turbaevsky got the ball. In a return attack after a pass from the right, Ponedelnyk almost cut the puck into his own goal. Kozhushko played for the first time in a month and a half after the injury, who had several good opportunities at the end, but was a little unlucky. Let’s note the debut of Ndombazi, who appeared on the field in the last minutes.

“Kryvbas” continued to play more actively even with such a score. Sosa again hit the post after a horse pass, and Turbaevsky made a save after Ilyich’s shot. The last few minutes were a bit nervous, but still we got a much needed win! Keep it up, team! Congratulations to all our fans on this important success!
