“The work of the team of the Association of Hairdressers and Beauty Specialists once again proves the importance of small business not only in strengthening the Lithuanian economy, but also in promoting the name of Lithuania. I congratulate the talented team that brought us more than one victory from Paris”, says Minister of Economy and Innovation A. Armonaitė.
This year, two dozen beauty specialists from all over Lithuania went to the championship, which is organized by the OMC Organization Mondial Coiffure organization, which unites over a million members from all over the world.
“I have always wanted to gather Lithuanian beauty specialists into one big community and I am happy to say that I have succeeded in realizing this goal. It’s nice that I brought together those who really wanted to become well-known professionals in their field not only in Lithuania, but also among the best in the world,” says Jolanta Mačiulienė, president of the Association of Hairdressers and Beauty Specialists, who has been leading the team for almost 15 years.
The team of the Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians received awards for their contribution and work in the national association of beauty professionals, as well as winning various competitions. In total, the Lithuanian team managed to win 3 gold medals and 3 bronze medals. At the “OMC Gold Cup” championship, Lithuanians also won the gold cup, 3 second places and 2 third places.
