MEMBER and spokesperson for the Judicial Commission (KY), Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata, admitted that he had received information regarding three Surabaya District Court (PN) judges who acquitted Gregorius Ronald Tannur who were arrested for accepting bribes.
Mukti explained that his party was still investigating the truth of the information and news.
“KY will deliver an official statement after obtaining the OTT details,” he explained.

Previously, three Surabaya District Court judges acquitted Gregorius Ronald Tannur, son of a former member of the DPR for the murder of his girlfriend, Dini Sera Afriyanti, 29, and was arrested by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). The three were arrested for accepting bribes for the release of defendant Ronald.
“Yes, it is related to that (bribery),” said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the Attorney General’s Office Harli Siregar when confirmed, Wednesday (23/10).
However, Harli did not want to reveal the form of bribes received by the three judges. Likewise, the value received is in the form of money. Harli admitted that he would make a complete statement at the press conference tonight.

“Later at 7 pm (19.00 WIB) press conference,” said the former Head of the West Papua High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati).
The three Surabaya District Court judges were Erintuah Damanik as Chief Judge, Mangapul, and Heru Hanindyo who at that time was a Member Judge.
The KY has recommended giving permanent suspension sanctions with the right to retire, to the three judges who gave an acquittal to the defendant Gregorius Ronald Tannur. The recommendation for the penalty for dismissal was conveyed at the consultation meeting of Commission III DPR RI led by Habiburokhman with KY on Monday, August 26 2024.
The three judges, namely Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul, and Heru Hanindyo, were proven to have violated the Code of Ethics and Behavior for Judges (KEPPH). Ethical violation for giving an acquittal to Ronald Tannur. (P-5)
