Renowned for its historical and natural heritage, Versailles is an unmissable tourist destination throughout the world. The castle alone attracts nearly 10 million visitors each year.

Founded by a fifty-year-old who decided to leave his job as training agency manager, the young company Trip’in Trott wants to “break the codes of the visit” by offering several thematic routes with a guide on the handlebars of all-terrain electric scooters. A different way of experiencing Versailles and its surroundings, far from the crowds and the (re)beaten paths.

Introduction to the scooter before and accompaniment by a guide

In small groups (from two people), participants can discover the Antiques district, marvel at works of Street Art, venture into the hunting grounds of Louis XIV, or even admire the architectural gems from the Château park. The accompaniment is provided by a professional guide, with stops planned to take souvenir photos.

Just before the visit, an introduction to the electric scooter is offered. A machine apparently easy to use because it has large wheels reminiscent of those of a mountain bike. All equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.) is of course provided.

Four main visit themes

Four main tour themes are on the menu: “At the heart of Versailles”, “Art and sport”, “Forest” and “Île-de-France region”.

On the theme “In the heart of Versailles, Trip’in Trott schedules five two-hour walks through original routes: the Versailles park, the historic district of Notre-Dame, the Saint-Louis district, street art, and special Invader to discover the works of street artist and mosaicist Invader.

Trip’in Arts displays four half-day walks allowing you to discover places full of art or to experience an outdoor sport, accompanied by a professional according to the theme: Lambinet museum, First and Second World War, sport with an introduction to golf, the Arboretum botanical garden.

With “Forest”, the start-up offers an immersion in nature by following the forest paths around Versailles. Three two-hour walks are available.

Finally “Région-Île-de-France” suggests three two-hour walks in the heart of the region, from the Chevreuse valley to the Impressionist path on the banks of the Seine.

Please note that prices are not communicated. For example, to immerse yourself in the Versailles of the 17th and 18th centuries, it costs 75 euros per person for a two-hour stroll.
