García Luna accuses AMLO of “dismantling” the Judiciary

Furthermore, he accused that during the trial “not a single piece of evidence” was presented against him.

García was found guilty of all the charges against him, related to drug trafficking, organized crime and false testimony before the US authorities last February.

In the letter released this Tuesday, he reiterated his political career and stated that he was the “Mexican with the most recognitions and decorations” in Mexico, USA y Europa.

In the same letter, García Luna accused López Obrador of “dismantling” the Judiciary with the reform approved before the end of his government.

The former official accused Morena of trying to imprison opponents through reform of the Judiciary.

“My country is suffering a great upheaval; by order of the current president of Mexico, the country’s Judiciary has just been dismantled,” he wrote.

“They seek to imprison those of us who fight their political allies linked to drug trafficking, Mexico is entering a very dangerous stage.”
