PRESIDENT Prabowo Subianto is said to be evaluating the performance of the Red and White Cabinet in April 2026. That means exactly six months after the cabinet was officially formed on October 21 2024.
“I have heard that after six months, April next year, every minister and deputy minister will be evaluated,” said the Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party and the younger brother of President Prabowo Subianto Hashim Djojohadikusumo at the Kadin Economic Dialogue event at the Kadin Tower, Jakarta, Wednesday (23 /10).
He admitted that he received a lot of criticism and input regarding the number of ministers and deputy ministers in the Red and White Cabinet. It is known that currently President Prabowo has 48 ministers and 56 deputy ministers to assist him in his work as Head of State.
Hashim also confirmed that his older brother would regularly evaluate the performance of ministers and deputy ministers every six months. This is intended so that the president can review the effectiveness of his assistants’ work in executing programs run by the government.
“This is in the first six months, sorry, those who are less efficient, corrupt, or less empowered or maybe tired, lacking energy, will be evaluated. He (Prabowo) is a firm person. I think many people already know,” said Hashim. (J-3)
