Black Dragons join FaZe Clan, Team Liquid and W7M Esports at the Montreal Major with heroic qualification after losing every match in the Brazil League

Black Dragons exceeded all expectations and won the fourth and final Brazilian spot at the BLAST R6 Major in Montreal, scheduled for November. The team, which did not win any matches during the BLAST R6 Brazil League, managed to qualify through the Last Chance Qualifier, which ended this Sunday (20).

In this last chance to move on to the international tournament, the team made up of Ask, Guto, Nuxxga, Florio and Hornetao started their comeback on Friday (17), beating E1 Esports 2-0. On Saturday (19), the team defeated Keyd Stars by the same score. On Sunday, they beat FURIA 2-1 in a grand final full of twists and turns.

The Black Dragons team overcame their poor campaign during the regular phase and secured their spot at the Montreal Major via the Last Chance Qualifier

With this feat, the Dragons join FaZe Clan, Team Liquid and W7M Esports, who qualified for the BLAST R6 Major in Montreal for having been, respectively, the champion, runner-up and third-place teams in the BLAST R6 Brazil League. The Major will begin on November 7th with Play-In, the tournament’s entry phase, which features the Brazilian Black Dragons. The championship will be played in Canada and the final is scheduled for November 17th.

The classifieds

FaZe Clan goes to the Major as the main name in the country, as it is not only Seed 1 and the current champion of the round, but it is also the most experienced team, with the greatest number of participations in the competition.

Team Liquid, the best Brazilian at the Manchester Major, is seeking an unprecedented international title and will count on the strength of its fans in this endeavor.

W7M Esports won its place in the qualifying match, defeating FURIA 2-1, and is trying to win international titles again after the major reformulation of the line-up, carried out at the beginning of 2024.
