The mother of one of the shooters who killed the Indian politician and former minister of the Indian state of Maharashtra, Baba Siddiqui, has said that her son had left home after telling his family that he had a job in Pune.

Indian police say that three shooters were involved in the murder of Baba Siddiqui, two of them have been arrested. One accused has been arrested from Haryana and the other from Uttar Pradesh. While the third accused is absconding, the search is on.
Indian media has released a video statement of the mother of one of the arrested shooters, Dharamraj Keship, who is said to be around 18-19 years old.
In the video, he says that two months ago, his son left home in the Indian city of Pune for a job in a scrap yard (used goods market), but after his son’s departure, he had no contact with him. Hasn’t happened.
The mother also said that she never spoke to him nor did he ever send money home. She met her son only on the festival of Holi when he came to her house.
According to the Indian media, the mother of the shooter expressed her ignorance about the murder of Baba Siddiqui and said that she cannot say anything about the incident of the murder of Baba Siddiqui.
