A homicide occurred in the Tennengau community of Adnet on Tuesday evening. The police are searching for an unknown perpetrator with a large contingent.
According to initial information from the police, the person they were looking for killed a 67-year-old German woman with a knife in an apartment building in Adnet-Waidach on Tuesday evening.
“The securing of evidence and the investigation into the course of the crime and the background are the subject of ongoing investigations by the State Criminal Police Office. The Salzburg public prosecutor’s office ordered an autopsy of the body to clarify the exact cause of death,” said the police report.
During the night there was a large-scale operation with helicopters and search dogs. The Cobra special unit was also deployed. A search was underway for a person who was on the run and is believed to be connected to the death.
