CONTINUING the release of the single Seangkat Retak Mellegenda which was launched on August 23 2024, the pop-punk/alternative group from Yogyakarta, Karnathey officially released Di Crossroads. This song is also planned to be included in the Fortune album.
At the Crossroads can be heard on music streaming platform channels as of today. The single was also released with an official lyric video which can be accessed on their official channel on YouTube.
Heroherda, frontman of Karnacepat, thinks that Di Simpangungan has no special reason to be the sixth single for Evolve,
“Because the production is very fluid.”
This song with alternative-pop colors with a touch of punk rock was written directly by Heroherda.
“From the beginning of the band’s formation, we were used to being independent,” explained Herda, “It just so happened that the creator and producer was myself.”
The important message in this song feels deep. Herda said, “Even when we are at our lowest point, there is no reason to give up.”
“Because time is still turning, so keep trying, before we age in vain,” he continued.

Herda explained that many people must have had experiences related to what is discussed in this song.
“The condition of being ‘at a crossroads’ must occur in every human being who is always in process,” said Heroherda.
The influence of Karna’s favorite group on the creation of At the Crossroads.
Hero admits that Green Day’s musical colors dominate the songwriting at the Crossroads.
“We agree that this song is a combination of two Green Day songs, Dilemma and Wake Me Up When September Ends,” explained Hero.
The recording process for this song itself only took less than two weeks, with Karnathey’s studio, Seventiga Labs in Yogyakarta as the production location.
For Herda, recording Di Simpangangan was interesting because their old Karna personnel were also involved in making this song.
