In 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, independent candidates fought in the by-elections.

Independent candidate Momina Bibi stood first with 387 votes while independent candidate Khyal Varu stood second with 214 votes.

VC 61 Adzei Maulana Irfanullah of PJUI won by getting 790 votes. HaripurMehnaz Bibi was elected unopposed as female councilor from Village Council 24 and Shaista Farooq was elected unopposed as female councilor from Ghazi Neighborhood Council One.

Mansehra Independent candidate Lala Nazir secured 738 votes for General Council seat from Village Council Ghanool, PTI-backed Majid Hussain stood second with 595 votes.

Village Council On the seat of Garhi Habib General Counsel, Muhammad Shaukat, an independent candidate, was successful with 1,040 votes, while Nadeem Khan was second with 1,000 votes. Village Council Dharyal Youth councilor candidate Hamza Asrar Swati won by getting 983 votes while the rival candidate Muhammad Adil got 642 votes.

Village Council Gandhian Muhammad Arif won the seat of general councilor by getting 538 votes, his opponent Malik Tufail was second with 494 votes.

Village Council Jodh In the general consul seat, Rashid Ali won with 978 votes, Akhtar Ayub is second with 676 votes.Village Council Phagora In the youth councilor seat, Abdul Qadir won with 620 votes, his opponent Babar Khan was second with 380 votes.

Abbottabad By-Election In Village Council Nagri Bala General Councilor seat, non-Sardar Saeed Lado won with 861 votes while Sardar Altaf was second with 562 votes.

Village Council in Swat In Bedra, independent candidate Majeed Khan won 1,406 votes while PTI-backed candidate Abrar won 840 votes. Riyaz Khan of Awami National Party won 490 votes in Gogdra while Asrar Khan won as independent candidate. 190 and Fayyaz Khan independent candidate got 290 votes.

Village Council in Shangla From Banar, PML-N supported candidate Javed Iqbal secured 602 votes while Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Noorullah stood second with 560 votes.

Village Council Meera The candidate of Muslim League-N, Hasan Bahadur, won with 889 votes. Village Council Khor Kale PML-N candidate Rehmanullah came first with 541 votes while PPP’s Sajjad Ali came second with 302 votes. Village Council of Swabi In Tarkai One, PTI’s newly elected general councilor Amidar Nasir Khan stood first with 616 votes while Gul Sher stood second with 385 votes.

Bonair Village Council In Koga, PTI candidate Ahmed Ali is first with 525 votes while ANP candidate Hakeem Rasool is second with 406 votes.

Bajaur In VC Top 50, independent candidate Izharul Haq won with 225 votes while independent candidate Inayat Gul came second with 199 votes. VC 18 In the general seat, independent candidate Asir Khan was successful with 703 votes, while independent candidate Saddam Hussain was second with 597 votes.

coli palus In the seat of Youth Councillor, independent candidate Naseeb Dar won with 487 votes while independent candidate Samiullah came second with 240 votes.

Lower Dirki Village Council In Rahimabad, PTI’s Usmanullah won by getting 297 votes while ANP’s Syed Mehmood Jan came second with 204 votes.

53 Village and Neighborhood The second by-elections of councils have been completed, during which independent candidates fought in 17 districts. In the elections, independent candidate from Khurram Mohammad Zai village council of Kirk stood first with 730 votes while Sabir Jameel stood second with 530 votes. Rehmat Subhan, candidate of Village Council Petu Dara PPP won by getting 918 votes. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Mudassir Rafiq was second with 590 votes.

Lower Dir by-elections ANP has won 2 seats, PTI has won 1 seat, People’s Party has won one seat while Jamaat-e-Islami has won unopposed in two seats. According to the unofficial and unofficial results, ANP’s engineer Waqar Abid Yousafzai won the victory by securing 598 votes in Village Council Hajiabad.

Village Council Peto Rehmat Subhan, the candidate of People’s Party supported by Jamaat-e-Islami won by getting 918 votes. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Mudassar Rafiq came second with 590 votes, PTI’s independent candidate Usmanuddin won with 297 votes in Village Council Rahimabad, while Syed Mehmood of ANP came second with 204 votes.

ANP’s Usman Shah won by getting 521 votes while PTI’s Azizullah came second with 510 votes in Village Council Sudbar Clay. The by-elections have been completed, according to the results, independent candidates have won in 17 districts.

By-elections in Bara postponed

Meanwhile, the Khyber Election Commission has postponed the by-elections in Bara due to security reasons. According to the Khyber Election Commission, local elections were postponed due to security reasons.

Elections were to be held on Bara KNC and VC Village Council. Earlier, Jamrud Tehsil Chairmanship elections were also postponed.

According to the commission, more than 6500 officials have been deployed across the province for the by-election, while more than 800 officials will perform security duties in Peshawar.
