Asunción, IP Agency.- The Minister of Public Works and Communications, Claudia Centurión, visited the headquarters of the new asphalt plant in Minga Guazú, Alto Paraná, a commitment assumed with the local authorities. This initiative seeks to effectively address the region’s road needs.
The mobile plant, moved from María Auxiliadora, Itapúa, represents a significant advance for the department, as reported by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC).
“We are satisfied to offer a more agile response to this economic lung of the country,” said Centurión while emphasizing that the reactivation will facilitate coordination with the government and municipalities for road works.
In turn, the governor of Alto Paraná, César Torres, thanked the central government for carrying out this project and highlighted that the plant will help in the maintenance of main routes such as the PY06 and the Superhighway, in addition to facilitating paving in various municipalities.
Technical data
With a production capacity of 80 tons per hour and equipment that includes dump trucks, motor graders and backhoes, the plant will strengthen the development of infrastructure in the region.
