After all three party leaders of the largest government parties were invited to a meeting with the Federal President on Monday, Alexander Van der Bellen will now provide information on the next steps on Tuesday. At 1 p.m. he is scheduled to appear before the media and explain “further steps,” according to a statement from the presidential office.
Van der Bellen had previously met FPÖ chairman Herbert Kickl, ÖVP leader Karl Nehammer and SPÖ leader Andreas Babler in the Hofburg at the beginning of the week. There was no decision on what would happen next on Monday.
