On Monday, an elderly woman experienced two men and a woman walking behind her when she was shopping in Lidl in Søndergade in Aars. The elderly woman went out to her car in the parking lot in front of the store and placed a shopping net with a purse in the back of the car.
Here the older woman was then contacted by the woman who had also been inside Lidl. This woman said there was something wrong with one of the car’s front wheels. Both women went to look at the wheel, but there was nothing in the way, so the strange woman apologized and disappeared from the scene.
This maneuver was only intended to distract the elderly woman, because in the meantime her purse was stolen from the car. Probably by one of the men who accompanied the strange woman.
Police assistant Niels Kristian Christensen from the Local Police in Himmerland therefore encourages others to be aware and contact the police if they have seen the three people. The fact is that a similar relationship took place over the weekend in Aars. Here it was also suspected that two men and a woman tried to commit theft or perhaps pickpocketing. It was at Kvickly on Markedsvej, where the police were called, but the three people just managed to run away from the scene before a police patrol arrived.

The two men are described as follows: They are of southern or Middle Eastern origin. They have black hair and full beards. The woman is also of Southern or Middle Eastern descent, and she was “beautifully” dressed in a light, knee-length woolen coat. All three are probably in their 30s.
