OnePlus 13 leaks a week before the premiere. Look at the official pictures – SMARTmania.cz

  • The new OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone will be unveiled next week
  • The phone will get an updated design and an upgrade of the internal components
  • The brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset ensures tremendous performance

The OnePlus brand will greatly speed up the premiere of its new flagship smartphone with the name OnePlus 13. While the current generation OnePlus 12 saw the light of day on December 5 last year, its successor will be revealed as early as next week. The Chinese premiere is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, but thanks to the whistleblower @evleaks, we can see the upcoming news already today.

OnePlus 13: wood, glass and artificial leather

In terms of design, the OnePlus 13 will have the signature of previous models, but with visible intergenerational changes. You can safely tell that this is a flagship smartphone from OnePlus by the large circular photo module on the back, but this year’s model will be physically “disconnected” from the left side.

A silver horizontal strip that divides the back of the phone at the height of the photo module into two parts makes the design special. Above this strip, we can find the Hasselblad brand logo, which will again take care of camera tuning – in previous generations, this “hook” was located directly in the module.

OnePlus will also change the very shape of its next flagship phone. The original prominent rounding will give way to modern trends – the OnePlus 13 will now get a flat screen and straight sides with a glossy finish. Fortunately, we won’t lose the popular mechanical profile switch on the left side, while the traditional buttons for changing the volume and locking/unlocking the phone will be on the right.

The OnePlus 13 will be available in three color variants – black, white and blue. The black variant will attract the texture of wood, the other will be smooth, and in the blue version OnePlus will probably reach for artificial leather.

Three times 50 megapixels

From the front, the OnePlus 13 will be represented by a 6.8″ OLED display with a resolution of 1,440 × 3,168 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. Part of the display will be a circular hole for a selfie camera, and in the module on the back we will find three cameras:

  • 50 Mpx main (Sony LYT-808),
  • 50 Mpx wide-angle (Samsung Isocell JN1),
  • 50 Mpx telephoto lens (Sony LYT-600) with 3x optical zoom.

Under the baton of the new Snapdragon

The OnePlus 13 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset that will be unveiled tonight. It should be paired with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The phone is also supposed to boast a tremendous durability, which will be ensured not only by the economical chipset, but also by a large 6,000mAh battery. Both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging with support for magnetic accessories should be supported. The operating system is to be the new Android 15 wrapped in the OxygenOS 15 superstructure with a number of novelties focused on speed and artificial intelligence.

The premiere of OnePlus 13 will take place on October 31, but so far only for the Chinese market. We do not yet know whether the global version will make it to Christmas this year.

OnePlus 13: The Smartphone You Didn’t Know You Needed!

So, we’re gearing up for the grand unveiling of the OnePlus 13, set to hit our screens (or faces, if we’re being honest) next week. Now, if your heart starts racing at the thought of a flagship smartphone with more upgrades than a reality TV contestant, then brace yourselves. This baby’s packed with all the bells and whistles—minus the actual bells, because who needs those when you can have a Snapdragon?

Out with the Old, In with the New

With the previous model, the OnePlus 12, making its dramatic entrance only a few months ago, it looks like OnePlus is taking the “fast fashion” approach to smartphones. Before you’ve even finished paying off your last phone, the OnePlus 13 is ready to strut its stuff. And let’s face it, it’s calling all the shots—Thursday, October 31, is when you’ll be able to ogle its gorgeousness in person… in China. Dare we say, “trick or treat” indeed!

Design That WOWs!

Let’s talk design. The OnePlus 13 isn’t just armed with pixels; it’s here to make a statement. The back? A large circular photo module that screams “look at me!” But wait for it: it’s “disconnected” from the left side—because who wouldn’t want their camera to float like a fancy balloon at a child’s birthday party? The silver strip dividing the back gives it a stylish edge—no pun intended—while the Hasselblad logo gives your new phone that much-needed pedigree. Just think of it as the family crest for your gadget.

Flat Out Stunning!

Gone are the prominent curves. This year, we’re treated to a flat screen & straight sides with a glossy finish. Yes, it’s like a modern art exhibition that also doubles as a phone. Plus, don’t worry; the iconic mechanical profile switch remains, just in case you need to be the life of the party and switch profiles mid-conversation.

Colors That Speak Volumes

Now for the colors—because what’s a smartphone launch without options? The OnePlus 13 will come in a trio of colors: black, white, and blue. The black version boasts a lovely wood texture—perfect to tell yourself your phone’s eco-friendly while you browse Instagram. The white is smooth, making it look sophisticated enough to accompany you to a five-star restaurant (just don’t drop it in the soup!). Meanwhile, the blue will likely feature artificial leather, which is great if you want to feel fancy without the fear of guilt over animal products. Because let’s be real, what’s fancier than guilt-free faux leather?

Say Cheese… or Rather, Cheese Times Three!

On to the camera, because selfies aren’t going to take themselves, right? The OnePlus 13 features a whopping trio of 50-megapixel cameras—let’s break this down:

  • 50 Mpx Main Camera (Sony LYT-808)
  • 50 Mpx Wide-Angle Lens (Samsung Isocell JN1)
  • 50 Mpx Telephoto Lens (Sony LYT-600) with 3x optical zoom

That’s a total of 150 megapixels! If you’re counting, the Matrix movies can’t compete with those numbers. You’ll practically be capturing the universe, one grainy selfie at a time.

Under the Hood: Power Meets Performance

Let’s shift our attention to what makes it tick. Powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, the OnePlus 13 is set to deliver “tremendous performance.” That’s marketing speak for “get ready to run all the apps and never look back.” Pair this with up to 24GB of RAM and a staggering 1TB of storage, and we’re not just talking about a phone; we’re talking about a portable supercomputer.

And because battery life is king in this kingdom, the OnePlus 13 boasts a colossal 6,000mAh battery. Expect 100W wired and 50W wireless charging—perfect for when you’ve got that low-battery panic but don’t want it to interfere with your TikTok scrolling marathon.

The Verdict?

So mark your calendars for October 31. Whether you’re in China, or simply willing to watch globetrotting influencers parade their new toys on your feeds, the OnePlus 13 promises to be one for the ages. Will it dominate your pocket by Christmas? That’s a mystery for another day. For now, just promise not to cram it down your pants when you’re trying to impress someone! Unless you’re really committed to your tech.

Cheers to the next flagship, and may your selfies always be in focus!
