There are reports that the jail cook has been sent on leave, Imran Khan is imprisoned in isolation and darkness, Jemima – Life & Style

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan‘s ex-wife Jemima Khan says that there are reports that Imran Khan is in solitary confinement, literally in the dark and has no contact with the outside world.

Jemima said in her message on “X” that in the last few weeks there have been serious and disturbing developments regarding the treatment of my sons’ father, Imran Khan, in prison. Pakistani authorities have cut off all meetings with his family and lawyers, and court hearings have also been postponed. Apart from this, the phone conversations of his sons Sulaiman and Qasim Khan have also been stopped.

“We have received reports that the authorities have now switched off lights and electricity in Imran Khan’s cell and now he is not allowed to leave his cell at any time,” Jemima said. Jail Cook has been sent on leave. Now they are completely isolated, locked in isolation, literally in the dark with no contact with the outside world.

“We demand the immediate release of Imran Khan, and the release of his sisters and nephew, as well as the re-establishment of contact with his sons’ father, to reassure them,” he wrote. That his father is fine and that he is not being abused.

In another of her tweets, Jemima wrote that I usually do not comment on Pakistani politics. I disagree with Imran Khan on many political issues. But this is not about politics, this is about the father of my children, their human rights and international law.

“For the past few years, I have been bullied and harassed by PML-N goons, including rape threats and conspiracy theories,” Jemima wrote. Meanwhile Twitter/X is banned in Pakistan, PTI members and civilian supporters have been kidnapped, anyone who was talking to the platform is now in jail and has been silenced, Imran Khan’s image and name have been censored on state television.

He further wrote that I owe it to my children to try to create some awareness about what is happening in Pakistan. Please help in any way you can.
